High voltage isolating switchgear
Features
High starting torque: Since the isolating switch needs to complete the opening and closing operation in a short time, the motor is usually designed with a high starting torque to ensure reliable and fast operation.
Short-time working system: This kind of motor generally does not need to run continuously. It usually works for a short time and the working cycle is very short. Therefore, its design should consider the needs of intermittent working.
Higher protection level: Considering that the motor may work outdoors or in harsh environments, it usually has a higher protection level, such as IP55, IP65, etc., to prevent the intrusion of dust and moisture.
Environmental resistance: It can adapt to different climate conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature, humidity and dryness, and can withstand the influence of wind, rain, snow, freezing and other natural environments in outdoor environments.
High insulation level: In order to adapt to high-voltage environments, this type of motor usually has a higher insulation level, such as F class, H class, etc., to ensure long-term safe and stable operation.
Reliability: As it involves the safe and stable operation of the power supply system, the reliability of the motor must be very high to avoid power supply interruption due to faults.
Simple control and interface: The motor control system is usually designed to be very simple, easy to integrate with on-site control systems (such as SCADA), and has standard interfaces to facilitate future maintenance and replacement.
Fast response: The high-voltage isolation switch requires the motor to respond quickly to the control signal to quickly disconnect or connect the circuit.
Overload protection: In order to prevent mechanical overload caused by isolating switch sticking or other reasons, motors usually have overload protection function.
